So, we tested something out with this and I had originally put the cables in incorrectly (the red audio composite cable and red video cable were switched, my bad) so when you hear Max complaining about how he can't watch the screen it was because we had green and red lines on screen which were actually the audio coming in as video while no red colors were coming through. This however did not affect the recording, just our view of it, which is why the audio is what it is. Eric is the top left of screen, Justin top right, and Max started bottom but I swapped in until I realized what I did with the cables. You will also occasionally hear Ed in the background as he was there, and I believe that should be all of us (someone showed up later, but I don't think we were doing the Ultimate run still. However there is a small gap in time where my computer went to sleep (when it shouldn't have) and we lost some video, although that was resolved and fixed as well. It was an Ultimate run in the Forest, featuring a boss fight.

VLOG- 2012/10/10 And I'm Back With Plans
An old VLog that I had on my Youtube Account, I've actually got a few new card review openings to also upload to their and this blog, as with the semester over and a new source of income I can start these up proper again. Also expect some new video game based stuff out here as well. Did I mention this was a while back?

Good News Everyone!
Aside from the fact that anyone who has seen Futurama said that in the proffessor's voice (or Bender's), I hit up a "nearby" big gaming store, and picked up a few new things in the cardgame review department, so those should be up later this weekend.

A Look Back, Yugioh!: Duelist Pack 2 Chazz Princeton
Let us move on in order to the second Duelist Pack, Chazz Princeton. It had the same release dates in the TCG and the OCG as the first Duelist Pack, as it went hand in hand with Jaden's pack, and overall was a good choice to help introduce this new idea of a small, character focused pack.
On the cover is Armed Dragon LV10, card only found in this pack and in Duel Terminal 5, while the other levels are easier to come by (with LV7 being found in three packs, including this, and not counted was the promo in a Wal-Mart package, and LV3 and LV5 being in several decks). A rather nice yet difficult card to get out at times, due to its unique summoning conditions, but more on that later.
Overall in terms of the cards in this pack, 17 of the 30 cards are monsters (including fusions), 9 spells, and 4 traps. Time to break these down a bit.

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus: wrapping up Tide of Terror
The final three parts of Tide of Terror are done, and here they are!
So yeah, Part 6, Treasure in the Depths, mini-game time.

Let's Play Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (The Sly Collection): Tide of Terror, Part 5
We head deep Into the Machine for a shot at breaking down Raleigh's evil weather machine. Will my good fortune in the earlier levels hold up? Not that likely on this one.
Let's Play Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (The Sly Collection): Tide of Terror, Part 4
On this session of Sly, we meet the cousin of the Metal Gear Box, Sly Barrel. Oh this game and its rather fun outlook at times.
Let's Play Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (The Sly Collection): Tide of Terror, Part 3
Time for a High Class Heist, and I think I need to stop name dropping the area names.

And once again, I pick up something I forgot about/was too busy/put off/procrastinated on, despite the fact I had the footage. We start Prowling the Grounds and head deep Into the Machine on this one.

Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters Battle Decks: Tatsurion vs. Razorkinder
So, what happens when you take the card game equivalent of the Megaman Legends series (or in other words has a cult following, yet seemingly gets not enough love) like Duel Masters, which is still selling in Japan, but not here in America and still has fans and is a well designed game to boot? Well as Wizards of the Coast, which distributed Duel Masters in America (and their site will link to the Japanese site of the game, if you don't believe me go to wizards.com and highlight brands at the top, its still listed), is a subsidiary of Hasbro, Hasbro brought it back, basically, in the form of Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters (and I see what they did there, as I recall a video game called Duel Masters: Rise of Kaijudo being made). As the backs of the cards are different and it basically is a different game, with classic cards brought back like Bronze-Arm Tribe (and a few prominent cards of the past I recall seeing in clips of the show, as well as on the online version, but more on that later), but functions just the same.

A Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Wall of Text Review: STRUCTURE DECK Samurai Warlords
Well sometimes I wonder exactly what they think when they release new decks (or tins for that matter) and it just seems like they're trying to fix the game a bit when it comes to balancing issues in organized play. Granted unlike Magic The Gathering where it is only the last so many sets that are allowed in tournament use, Yu-Gi-Oh! has only its shifting ban list and the sometimes crazy market for selling individual cards to keep it...well enough of such talk, back to the deck
The cover of the box is Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien, the new Xyz made for this deck, and while we received this deck the OCG received a new water Structure Deck, and with any luck eventually we'll have it as well. If you ever wanted to build a Six Samurai deck, this is a decent base to modify with any other Six Samurai cards you may have or want to put in. Now, let's get a talking.

Carfight!! Vanguard: A Cursory Glance
I picked this up a little while back, and I'll do a proper review on the game itself when I get a chance to pick up the other deck. If you don't know about Cardfight!! Vanguard, in short it was created with a melding of the minds from Duel Masters and Yu-Gi-Oh! R (which if that doesn't sound familiar it was an alternate original series Yu-Gi-Oh! manga which is the origin of The Wicked Dreadroot, Eraser, and Avatar cards), and overall its a rather nice game, but again I'll do a proper Wall of Text on that in another post. The great thing though in short is that this game's first rule is "everything the card says is true" and "consult the manual if needed" as the mat/quick rules it comes with have the basic layout of what you can do on them.
More to come later on this though, for those curious I bought this for $20US at a retail store that randomly had them. I've known about the game for a while though. If interested here is the official website. http://cf-vanguard.com/en/

Spoiler Free Movie Talk Thing: The Avengers
I'll keep this sweet and short, chances are due to its record breaking opening for America, you probably have seen it, or know someone who has, and I have a few things to say.
1. Good movie, worth it to go see it.
2. Some nice effects.
3. Story had good pacing to it. It did not feel like their were moments where it seemed to drag or had too much info in a small space of time.
4. Good cast overall.
4a. Samuel Jackson, enough said.
4b. The Hulk was done well.
Pro Tip: As it is a lengthy movie, stating the obvious and recommending you pace the soda. You don't want to miss a second of the movie.

Apparently the schedule for Toonami might be this, although I'll still not believe it to be set in stone as they originally said it was gonna be secret til day of. Then again, people change their minds.

1:00 a.m. - Casshern Sins
1:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG

The schedule then repeats between 3:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m."
That being said, still watch regardless of what your opinions may be if you are a Toonami fan, as according the article ratings are the key as they do not seem to have a lot of pull money wise.

A Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Wall of Text Review: STARTER DECK: XYZ SYMPHONY
Well, it is that time of year again, where those of us who play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG get to see the new Starter Deck come out. And boy, there are some rather nice things to come in this one, at least in my humble opinion as both a player of the game and a general fan of it. Biggest thing to point out is this comes with 5 monsters for the Extra Deck, which I believe was a first for a preconstructed deck, and all of them are different to boot.
Rather odd to have that 39 cut out and a separate illustration underneath the top of the box, although I rather like it. The general deck box format has kind of gotten monotonous. |

Yugioh News: A few days old, license now in hands of
So something I found out a few days ago, Yugioh rights were sold from 4kids to a group called KidsCo. Who are they? Well I hadn't heard of them before, although they have existed since 2007 apparently. All I pretty much can do is link you to the wiki article on them and their website. However as one of Polish decent I find it funny the hands of something that has, for lack of a better word, shaped a good part of my tastes is now in the hands of a group which had one of its first starting networks in Poland. Although not sure how that will turn out. Short version of the wiki though, "KidsCo is an international children's entertainment brand founded by Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment'sNelvana Enterprises, American-based producer DIC Entertainment, and European broadcaster Sparrowhawk Media Group in April 2007." ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KidsCo#cite_note-0 ) Now, why should anyone care? Well let us hope this means that something changes for the better, however it might mean nothing.

A Look Back, Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duelist Pack 1 Jaden Yuki
I decided to start going through these set by set, and I decided as the Duelist Packs were the smallest sets that I'd try and cover these a little bit. First up is Duelist Pack Jaden Yuki.
Released back in early 2006 for us in the TCG, this was a new concept for us. Rather than having a set of cards that were usually based on a few concepts, we got a set of cards belonging to the main character, well kind of. We didn't get all of them (and to this day I wonder what the list of cards Jaden used in show and manga adds up to, but I'm certain it probably is not legal for deck size).
Elemental HERO Steam Healer was the cover card, and outside of the packs that made up the Slifer Red Mega Packs in The Legendary Collection 2, the only place to pull one. With a seemingly unimpressive 1800 attack and 1000 defense points, this fusion of Elemental HEROs Burstinatrix and Bubbleman has the nice effect of gaining Life Points equal to the attack of any monster it destroys in battle and sends to the grave. This means all you really need is some proper buffing. Worst case scenario it is a Water attribute so if you have Masked Hero Vapor (or the soon to be released Acid for us in the TCG) then Mask Change will be useful. But enough on the signature card, let us break down the card list quickly.

Minor News
Planning to pick up something that would help in my review process, and hopefully today will come the package I've been waiting on, as it suddenly teleported from "customs limbo" to my home state with a 5 day gap (weekend included) with apparently no stop or departure time anywhere in between....I don't hold it against them, but did kind of worry me.

VLOG 2012/01/14-15
At some point when it comes out I'll do a proper break down of the set, but for now, here's my two cents on the sneak peak I went to, and forgot to mention my "big" pull was an ultimate rare Number 12: Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja, fun card.
